    Not sure if you've played it or it has been mentioned before, but momodora reverie under the moonlight is one that deserves more attention, it is a metroidvania souls-like and I absolutely loved the aesthetic

    I borrowed that Neopets game from a friend when I was a kid and god... I was like 9 and could tell it was got garbage. Iirc, I do t think I even made it past the "Go back home" shit before returning it to him.

    Okay, I deleted my previous comment, so I could elaborate more. Shrouded Insanity is a pixel art isometric game with influences from both Dark Souls, with its dodging and some combat, and Bloodborne, with the game taking place in a Lovecraftian setting. Though the building layout is the same, some enemies can be random. It is on Steam, and I consider it to be a nice gem that I found and played a while back.

    God, that dude in the tweet at the beginning seems like an asshole. I'm not good at souls games, in fact the only two I've beaten were souls like - Salt & Sanctuary, and The Surge - but I still love the 3 main titles, and bloodborne, for what they are. They're singularly beautiful and intriguing experiences that someday, with patience and practice, I'll fully experience. But I'm not going to rage about them just because I knowingly suck.
